Revealing look at Ivanka's transformation in today's New York Magazine. She's pretty much dissected and pinned down like a butterfly in a collection.

(30,741 posts)It makes me think about how her daddy probably wants her to be the first female President. They could try to install her for life. She could still be President when she looks like this.
We need to get rid of them now.

(28,979 posts)And imagines herself the darling of all. I saw that Shirley Temple movie too. She had to move to the attic when her Daddy went MIA in battle. Not exactly Ivanka's struggle. LOL.

(28,979 posts)Follow the snootiness up the social ladder as they say at Flo's Hair Salon where I get my cuts:
"After attending kindergarten, Jackie Bouvier enrolled in Manhattan's Chapin School in 1935. The Chapin School, an all-girls independent day school." I wiki'd Jackie. I knew that school sounded familiar. Guess they lowered their standards for Ivanka, no?

(34,661 posts)fimiliar. Used to read the Newspapers in the Library cause we could not afford them at the time. Spent a fair share of my middle school years in that Library as punishment, was a disruptive little shit in my day. But,hey, sure became aware of the News in NYC,LA,Chicago, and Eourpe. Do remember reading the Society Pages of the Times, wow, years later I finally figured it out,to much time in detention I guess.
