Never held or shot a gun? No worries! You can buy a pistol, strap it to your hip and roam the streets looking for bad guys!

Imagine the excitement of walking into a Quiktrip and confronting an armed robbery!!! You finally have an opportunity to shoot a gun!

But you have to get a drivers license first to drive to the Quiktrip, and have a state licensed vehicle to drive to the Quiktrip. Or if you don’t want to go to that hassle, just walk or Uber to your crime fighting hangouts!

What a great news story it will be when the first bullet you ever fire kills a robbery suspect!

And at 21 you can conceal the gun you have never fired!

1. It's been that way for a while

And it hasn't made any difference.

I have yet to see anyone carrying openly, in QT or anywhere else. Around here the law is mostly regarded as a gimmick.

2. I was just getting ready to say a similar thing.

I hate this. If it was up to me very few people would have guns like this and nobody except people who have been trained for a job would be able to carry at all.

I saw a gun only once. Guy had a big handgun stuffed in the back of his jeans. I was almost glad it was there because it hid his enormous butt crack as he bent over. I saw it and others saw it and we all just walked away, got out of a long line and walked away.

We have horrible gun violence in the city I live near because the meth problems are huge. If your city is run by clowns this is what happens I suppose but this law has actually made no change at all from the time before until now.
