Imagine that you live in a community where a known arsonist is in charge of the government.
At first, this person sets fires when no one is looking and denies any responsibility for the destruction and loss of life. Then, gradually, he becomes more and more transparent about his crimes. He holds rallies at which he says things like "Nice diversity ya got there. Be a shame if somethin' happened to it" and he stands smirking as he revels in the hoarse cheers of the mob of torch-lobbers drawn to his maniacal rants.
Eventually, he openly laughs when one of his disciples screams "Burn them!" in response to his "What am I to do with those OTHERS?"
Eventually, he allows himself to be filmed pouring gasoline onto smoldering resentments and flashes of hot temper.
Eventually, he stands before you with a sickening smile on his twisted face and says: "Yeah, I'm burning down your community. What the hell are YOU gonna do about it?"
