6. There was a time when being White in America was a total advantage.

Whites still have an enormous advantage in this society, but things are more competitive.

There was a time when the three White male shooters could have left high school to a factory job that would allow them to get married to a woman who had no real choice but marriage, father kids and have a secure job until retirement, then live off a solid pension until death. I'm on the wrong side of 50, so I have less than half my life left. I truly feel sorry for the young people of this country who aren't the incel losers. They are going to suffer the most, between climate change and rising fascism....it's not a pretty picture for the future.
