1. These are gunmen. Each one is a whisker away from exploding with rage.

I would try to avoid them when shopping... and I always always kept an eye on them and was prepared to duck or run.

If I was a gun humper my inclination would be to draw my weapon and point it at them "just in case"... but that would likely get me shot.

People walking around with a AR15 slung over the shoulder... it really shouldn't be legal.
