Okay, in my opinion, Maureen Dowd is hit-or-miss with her columns and there is much about her writing that annoys me. Still, I read her columns. In today's NY Times, she draws a comparison between Trump and Quentin Tarrentino's new film, "Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood."
Here is her description of Trump:
The rest of the column is short enough that I recommend reading it:

(33,561 posts)...is a trivializing fool who worked tirelessly to mock Democratic Presidential candidates in terms that are appallingly and criminally trivial.
She thought that the 2000 election was about Al Gore's suit. The result was a war in which hundreds of thousands of human beings were killed, and eternal war thereafter.
Even most of this piece is pure fluff, punctuated by a spot on description of Trump. Sometimes, despite being a mindless fool generally, Dowd finds a worthwhile line.

(123 posts)A complete and TOTAL coward acting tough. Never really insults people face to face...ever notice that, except the press, sometimes. Also ever notice the few times he does argue with a person face to face he won't look them in the eye. Stone cold coward.

(10,212 posts)You can see it at times when he says a very nasty thing. It flashes across his face but he quickly hides it.
That time at the inauguration where he turns to his Slavenian sex worker, says something that wipes the smile off her face and as he turns back to the camera, there is the psychopath smirk.
When he mentioned the wonderful letters the North Korean god/king wrote him and he taunts the reporters with it. You can see that psychopath smirk.
He does it a lot but he tries to hide it. It"s a very common look for a psychopath who has just hurt somone.
