Call it hate or anything else? It is the work of evil unsafe people who are able to get guns without having their background checked. I don't believe that we as Americans are safe to walk down our streets in the way we did in my younger days. The hate for one another is the biggest problem to contribute to the violence and killings. In Cincinnati, one man used his fist as a weapon, punching a 61 year old man at a Trump rally. We have had shooting and violence prior to Trump, but the rhetoric that Trump is spewing has becoming the benchmark for the uneasiness in the states and around the world. Impeachment, maybe? But the damage has been done! I fear that we will see the hate, violence turn into a war and we all be fight amongst ourselves.

(10,249 posts)I suspect it must be close; the gun murders since 9/11. And now many of the shooters have been brown? White suprematists or nationalist or however you want to label that group, that is the terrorist threat. We need a national reaction at the level that came after the 9/11 attacks.
