Footage picking up traction online showed a car barreling through a crowd of people as they marched in Milwaukee on Saturday in efforts to put a stop violence in their community.
In footage obtained by a local Fox station, a group of peaceful demonstrators are seen marching down the middle of a street when a car suddenly charged toward them.
As the car dived toward the crowd, children could be seen jumping out of the way and man appeared to try to run down the car before it sped down the road.
One protester could also be heard yelling "stop the violence" moments after.

(37,364 posts)this incident and the shootings happening on the same day are a little too much to be coincidence. There is something going on under the surface that is not being addressed by law enforcement.

(22,610 posts)what is law enforcement supposed to do about the acts of individuals fueled by hate who may not have any criminal record? This incident was about a protest against violence, in Texas it was about immigrants in a border city.
Except to the conspiracy minded, it was a coincidence.
Law enforcement could protect us better, but how many of your personal rights are you willing to give up to feel safe?

(37,364 posts)of domestic terrorism, prosecute it. Texas is doing the right thing.
Second, military type guns should be banned. Period.
Third, the infiltration of law enforcement by while nationalist types has been ignored.

(22,610 posts)Yes, military style weapons should be banned but "should" and "will be" are not the same thing.
Law enforcement attracts all the wrong kind of people--the bullies, thugs, and racists, because it's where they can have power over people just the same way that churches attract child molesters because they are in positions of trust and authority.
But with the hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the nation, what entity is going to clean them all up?
