CINCINNATI — A Georgetown, Kentucky man was led away from U.S. Bank Arena to chants of “Lock him up!” after assaulting an anti-Trump protester Thursday night.

The brief confrontation — 29-year-old Dallas Frazier climbing out of a pickup and repeatedly punching 61-year-old protester Mike Alter in the head — was recorded and quickly posted to Facebook by fellow protester Scott Fantozzi. More than 1,600 people had shared the video by 10 p.m.

According to Alter, who spoke with WCPO over the phone and via text, the protest against President Donald Trump’s campaign visit to US Bank Arena had been peaceful until Frazier arrived. He and a group of other protesters had been standing on one side of Broadway Street, occasionally exchanging shouts and chants with supporters on their way to the rally.

Then the red pickup drove by, and Frazier began shouting at the protesters from the passenger seat.


Dallas Frazier, 29, is accused of punching an anti-Trump protester oustide of U.S. Bank Arena on Thursday, August 1, 2019, according to police. He faces an assault charge.

So I'm icing and taking lots of Tylenol and still sick and dizzy and in pain. The mj cartridges are the only thing keeping me partially sane. No narcotics after 5 days out from major cervical discectomy and fusion is a totally awful combination. I don't know how I'd be handling this without the mj ol because that helps with both the extreme nausea and pains in stomach, neck and shoulders. It doesn't put me out or make me sleep, but it does ease things up so I can breathe.
