If Donald Trump has to be acquitted, much better for it to come at the hands of a group of people as corrupted and partisan as the Senate Republicans.

Mueller shouldn't have been expected to impact the main audience. ...the MSM. They have to be forced to do their job and put the whole mess front and center.

It's now just a constant search for one little thrill after the other. The Dems could show a picture of Trump handing Putin Top Secret documents in the impeachment trial. It would be an "outrage" for an hour. Then Trump would tweet that it was fake news and the Dems faked the photo. The media would run with that for about an hour too. An hour later they would interview Dem Congressmen and women and ask, "Why do you think the big photo of Trump giving nuclear secrets to Putin didn't excite the American People?"

show support for it?!?!? It all comes to ratings/$$$ to those unpatriotic, greedy bastards. Look at the Mueller testimony...the media was thoroughly repulsive in the was they portrayed it and him. It was as if I were watching Siskel and Ebert rate him on his entertainment value and his visual appearance and not what he was saying at all.
