the Obama administration).

(111,104 posts)...in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Jared Kushner was in the middle of these discussions. There was a lot of money to be made by a lot of independent "businessmen", including Donald Trump.
This was even bigger than the Trump Tower in Moscow, it seems?
Erik Prince had met with a Russian, and some Middle Eastern billionaire, along with George Nader, to discuss the financing for the nuclear plants.

(22,670 posts)I mean, if it's good enough for us, it sure as hell should be good enough for them.
Plus, that would boost the coal mining industry here. RIGHT?
Spreading nuclear technology throughout the middle-east, and directly with Saudi Arabia, the home country for the majority of the 9/11 hijackers.
In your face profiteering over America's security interests.

(14,174 posts)If it had been any other Middle East country whose citizens attacked us, heck even it wasn't, they'd be bombed to shreds. Too big oil to fail.
When 9/11 happened, the Saudi ambassador should have been dragged before Congress to answer questions. One being why members of the Saudi government were allowed to leave on a plane while there was a grounding of air traffic after the attack. There should have been threats of deep sanctions if the Saudi's did not hand over other suspects and/or comply with allowing American investigators to work with Saudi police to find the root causes, to interview the Bin Laden family.
And no follow up and criticism of the Saudi's worldwide spreading of the most violent anti-west Islamic doctrine called "Wahhabism" which was and still is, a major factor in radicalized youth in organizations like ISIS.

(193 posts)This will make Iran speed up it's nuclear program, now that Trump, most likely will find a way to get nukes in the hands of the murderer MBS. I mean come on, Israel has them and now SA will get them, what is Iran to do.

(17,931 posts)Good. Saudi wants nuclear weapons to counter Iran's upcoming membership in the nuke club. This is a backdoor method of moving them in that direction. Generations of US leaders have struggled mightily to keep the Middle East as nuke free as possible for obvious reasons. IQ45, pardon the pun, blows all that up in his first term.

(2,945 posts)countries because of the 9/11 attack, why can't Trump and the Rs who voted to give nuclear info to SA be charged with giving aid and comfort to the enemy and charged with treason?
