Message from my State Legislator re: Gilroy shooting

via Facebook:
Folks asking about Nevada Vs CALIFORNIA and the heartbreaking Gilroy shooting. When a NV resident buys a gun in NV and transports that gun to CALIFORNIA it needs to be shipped directly to a California licensed dealer to conduct appropriate licensing under California law. It appears that both the gun and magazine used yesterday are already illegal in California and could not legally be transported here even though they were bought legally in NV. This situation cries out for national action on gun control and begs the horrific question - how many more six year olds need to senselessly die before the Trump administration starts acting like it cares about children and families being shot, senseless gun violence and stops the partisan political bull shit?

Sen. Anthony Portantino

they stop and ask you if you have any homegrown fruit. Perhaps they should inspect for weapons too.
