New York Daily NewsForget magnets and keychains. This Texas man was way more ambitious about his souvenirs.
Authorities said a traveler at Baltimores international airport was caught Monday trying to fly with a missile launcher from Kuwait in his checked luggage.
Transportation Security Administration officers detected the item, which was not a live device, during a routine inspection at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the agency said in a statement.

(4,140 posts)1. That's not a missile launcher
It's the empty container a missile was shipped in. It's totally inert.

How do I survive without a rocket launcher? Maybe I'm just extraordinarily lucky.

(39,171 posts)4. It is a single use missile launching tube
it poses no threat to anyone - it is nothing more that a fiberglass tube with some metal fittings.

(39,171 posts)9. They are common souvenirs
I picked up several similar tubes during my career. It is seldom a problem as long as you ask first.

In fact GAWD and the 2nd amendment command you to own an array of missiles and weapons that could take out a small army, because that's exactly what Jesus would want!

(39,171 posts)10. You realize this is not an actual weapon?
It is a fiberglass tube that once held a missile. You cant reload it.
