(15,646 posts)He finally came out in support late Thursday or Friday. Im sure there were plenty of others who did the same. It worked and its what he needed to stand up to and go against leadership.
Everyone here needs to do the same. We are at a critical moment especially with Coats resignation today. Call your Congressman as well as Pelosi, Hoyer and Schiff to urge impeachment action.
This is important. Only we the people can make it happen especially given our two party system. Thats a reality that isnt going to change soon. Call your rep daily if you can.

(393 posts)I've been bugging Rep. Matsui for weeks and weeks. Finally, she sends me a letter saying she joined her colleagues in support of impeachment inquiry following the Mueller hearings. Makes me wonder if she bothered to read the report. As she has been silent on the issue for weeks since the report was released.
I'm going to write her again and ask her why she isn't standing with Japanese Internment survivors who are protesting against the inhuman treatment of the border detainees. She of all people should be front and center as she and her family suffered the indignity of the camps. Where is leadership nowadays?

(31,392 posts)when we used to split 7/6 or 6/7 prior to 2010 and the screw job the Republicans did on redistricting.
Two of our three are in the support impeachment column. My Rep David Price is not there. I've written to him twice telling him to get on board with supporting an impeachment inquiry. The other day I got an e-mail blast from him asking for money. So, guess what? I wrote back and said no donations would be coming from me UNTIL he got on board with doing his job and supporting an impeachment inquiry.
