Can we praise our own leaders, and call out the obviously longtime racist, sexist GOP instead?

I know that sounds simple. Even naive.

And, the opposite is true.

Anyone who has been bullied even once, knows not to call the bully your "friend". And you know never to praise their heros.

So let's stop quoting racists and sexist bullies like Ronald Reagan. Don't forget the deep sexism that he burdened our women and children by turning the word (if you think I will say the word "liberal" next, you already are on the wrong path) "abortion" into the word "murder". If that is not sexist, I don't know what is.

And let's think a bit about the word "friends". Or people that we are expected to magically agree with and pass things that never seem to happen. Like a "public option". Let alone what most taxpayers, in most developed nations, have; Universal Healthcare.

Remember that anyone who would vote dare to end the ACA is not any of our "friends".

Please, don't feed me anymore nonsense about "working with the other side". Those people do not want to help us with anything but taking the few bucks you have left in your pocket.

No. Instead. Try inspiring me. Like the brave young women like AOC and the others who clearly know who has stopped, or tried to stop every proper thing we have ever done.

No. Instead. Fight back. They are racist, sexist scum. Treat them as they deserve to be treated.

Oh, and lets just add the word treason to the words sexism and racism. Not because it sounds good. But because it is true.
