So, Let Me Get This Straight. Trump Just Classified The Great American City of Baltimore As...

...as a 'shit hole country.'

And not one Republican condemned his remarks.

But there's at least one Republican the reporters SHOULD be asking. How about Rep. Andy Harris, the last remaining Congressman from Maryland. Will he stand up for a city in his own State, or will he be enough of a coward to hand the Democrats ALL EIGHT of Maryland's congressional districts?

Mike Ricci, spokesman for Republican Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland, stated Saturday afternoon that “Baltimore City is truly the very heart of our state, and more attacks between politicians aren’t going to get us anywhere.”

After witnessing American troops hold down a British attack on Baltimore’s Fort McHenry during the War of 1812, Francis Scott Key penned a poem entitled “Defence of Fort McHenry” – which, when sung to the tune of an old British drinking song, would eventually become America’s national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Baltimore is now well-known as home to several historical sites connected to our national anthem, including the Fort McHenry National Monument, the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House, and the original draft of the Star-Spangled Banner at the Maryland Historical Society.
