That was the fastest birth ever....especially if that was her first child....

The driver was so calm and his commentary hysterical....especially when he said that they owed him a car wash and cleaning. I never saw what they did about the cord cutting/clamping but I sure hope they got to the hospital soon thereafter. Glad it didn't show the delivery of the placenta....that would have been too much...

5. Probably did not cut the cord.

When I was taking LaMaz classes, the rules for emergency delivery were:
Don't cut the cord
Wrap up the baby
Put the baby to breast

Keeping the cord intact helps make sure the baby is still getting oxygen
of course you don't want the baby to get cold
Nursing the baby helps the uterus contract back down

Also, I’m kinda jealous... took me 19 hours to have my son. That was lightening quick.
