They identify them to Capitol Police and others as they move about the Hill.

Most of the Democrats are wearing them, too. Many of the women wear them as pendents. Several years ago, some of the female Members took their pins to jewellers to have a loop put on the back so they could wear them as necklaces. Now the pins are made with a loop added on for Members who want to wear them that way. One small step for women ...
