He was later discharged from the Colorado dept. of justice for ethics violations.
He was later slapped by the state Supreme Court for violating the constitution when he seized Hispanic tax returns in an effort to find illegal aliens.

he refused to prosecute an ADMITTED rapist because, according to Buck, the victim was merely experiencing "buyer's remorse."
He did spend $100K on a politically based prosecution, the jury took about fourteen seconds to reach a verdict of "not guilty". The case involved Marilyn Musgrave, for whom Buck was a campaign chair.
