Bill Barr Already Won

President Trump’s attorney general had the first word on the Mueller investigation. It may end up being the final word.

“I was surprised to hear there was anything negative in the Mueller report at all about President Trump. I hadn’t heard that before,” Cathy Garnaat, a Republican who supported Amash and Trump, told NBC that night. “I’ve mainly listened to conservative news and I hadn’t heard anything negative about that report, and President Trump has been exonerated.”

If the Dems have their act together, they can turn the table on drumpf, Barr and the rethuglicons.

2. I don't think we know the extent to which Barr affected Mueller's investigation and the extent

to which Barr has squashed spin off counterintelligence investigations.

These investigations are SUPREMELY important...and not only does the public not know about their status, I don't think congress does either.

We are in uncharted territory.

3. Tomorrow's hearings will educate the general public, and that's a good thing.

Many people out there only know what Barr spit out, and they don't know he twisted the results. And not surprising, there are some people who don't even know there was a report. So these hearings are a good way of informing the general public and making sure that Barr has not already won.

The 'base' is bound to go berzerk if/when impeachment procedures are started, and it's always good to have something on record to back up whatever actions we'll need to take in the future.

5. As the saying goes 'first impressions are very important'.

It's a consequence of our immediate gratification society. Democrats are fighting an uphill battle.
Try to get a date with someone you make a bad first impression with. Better to find someone else.

6. We shouldn't be saying he won. We should be saying he lied.

He intentionally lied to protect the President and he has been and still is engaged in obstructing justice. He should be impeached and disbarred.

7. Why post trump/barr/repug spin here?

Nobody knows what will result from Mueller's testimony tomorrow. turmp is guilty as sin and millions will get a whiff of that from the coverage tomorrow that will be all over cable, networks, newspapers, social media.

I prefer to wait to see what happens before I give that crook and his crooked AG credit for winning. Barr cheated with his summary that said trump was exonerated. trump cheated with help from Russians, Comey and repug vote suppression. Sooner or later that's going to catch up with cheating, crooked MFer.

Tomorrow just might be the beginning of it.
