as a successful businessman. Net worth maybe $50 million? Maybe $100 million? But, certainly not in the billions that he claims. And, maybe underwater with all the debts.

I've read several articles with Trump supporters that be summed up by "Sure, Trump's trade war is killing me personally, but he's such a brilliant businessman that he must be doing it for a reason, so I will stick with him on this so we can MAGA together."

If the rug is pulled out from under them, it could have a bigger effect than many think.

I still say he's not the man-made successful businessman that he claims to be, and he's been living his life funneling money from illegal sources. He most likely doesn't have a pot to piss in.

per the NY Times "Billion Dollar Loser" article

However, according to the book "Trump Nation" that came out several years back (2012 maybe?), Donny's net worth was between $150 million and $250 million. So, he'd lost around half that money in an era where the stock market was generally booming. Trump sued the author of the book and lost.

Didn't Trump say that there's nobody who wants his returns released more than himself? New York went to the trouble of passing a new law just so Trump could keep his word, and New York's thanks for doing that is a lawsuit? We're going to need a double helping of Fox to explain that one.
