The way I hear it when the media talks about Trump being racist

They they say it is because it is part of his campaign. As if excusing it. That he is doing it to lock in his base. Stop it!

He is a damn racist. And I consider anyone in the media that ties in the two as if to justify it just as bad.

They are treating his racism as a legitimate political strategy that he hopes will win him re-election in 2020, which is an utterly depressing thought in its own right.
