For 'client' Jeffrey Epstein, an unlocked cell in a Florida jail (WP)

For ‘client’ Jeffrey Epstein, an unlocked cell in a Florida jail
By Lori Rozsa July 19 at 6:23 PM

PALM BEACH, Fla. — In 2008, a supervisor at the county jail here alerted staff members to the needs of an inmate serving an 18-month sentence for sex crimes involving a minor. Jeffrey Epstein, he wrote in a memo, was a first-time offender “poorly versed in jail routine,” and “his adjustment to incarceration will most likely be atypical.”

“For the time being, I am authorizing that his cell door be left unlocked and he be given liberal access to the attorney room where a TV will be installed,” Capt. Mark Chamberlain wrote in August of that year.

During much of his sentence, Epstein was allowed to leave the county’s minimum-security stockade 12 hours a day, six days a week, for a work-release program, a job at a nonprofit foundation he had created. Sheriff’s deputies assigned to monitor the multimillionaire on these outings allowed him to enter his Palm Beach estate on at least nine occasions toward the end of his sentence, at least once unattended and for four hours, according to the deputies’ reports.

Epstein paid $128,136 for the deputies to watch him, according to the records. One deputy wrote that he sought clarification of his duties and was told his job was to “provide security” for Epstein.

The deputies who monitored him were required to wear suits and to “greet inmate Epstein upon his arrival,” documents show. In internal reports about the work-release program, the deputies often describe Epstein as “the client” or “Mr. Epstein.” Two deputies refer to him as “Jeffrey.”

For the work-release program, Epstein traveled not with the sheriff’s deputies assigned to him but with a personal driver, a former mixed-martial-arts fighter from Russia named Igor Zinoviev. Epstein reported to a high-rise in West Palm Beach, where he worked at the Florida Science Foundation, a nonprofit group that state records show he founded shortly before his sentence began and dissolved shortly after his sentence was completed.

Not locked in his cell?

10 + hours a day @ West Palm Beach high rise?

Deputies had to wear suits and call him Mr. Epstein or Jeffrey?

Visits to his house?

A special room @ the prison set up with a TV?

He worked @ a charity that he himself set up?

7. And after partying with Jeff E. Trump said the following:

Jul 2019

“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New York Magazine that year for a story headlined “Jeffrey Epstein: International Moneyman of Mystery.” “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

Trump and his Trump international modeling agency were probably part of the same sex traffic business
that Epstein was into. Maybe even the blackmailing end of it too. And might that explain why Alan
Dershowitz has become such a trump/Fox News/GOP toady.

We are so far down the rabbit hole here it is not funny. But in the end what about Hillary's emails?

are afforded the same privileges?.......

This case is a disgrace to our Nation. Our system of justice needs some very serious work.

Especially considering I had a friend die unnecessarily from Crohn's disease in a state prison from lack of proper medical care....

No doubt in my mind he would be alive today if he could have had Epstein's money and political pull.

The deputies also filed shift reports. In hundreds of reports reviewed by the Post, the deputies recorded the number of visitors Epstein received during their shifts but not the names of the visitors. The visitor log that contained those names was destroyed by the Sheriff’s Office as part of routine records purges allowed under Florida law, Barbera said. However, the deputies’ shift reports were not destroyed.

As part of his work release, Epstein was allowed to visit his doctors, meet with his probation officer and look for new office space. As he neared the end of his sentence, he was also allowed to work from his waterfront home in Palm Beach between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Although sheriff officials have denied that Epstein received special treatment, Bradshaw announced on Friday that he had opened an internal affairs investigation into Epstein’s supervision at his office after a lawyer for more than a dozen of Epstein’s accusers said Epstein had sex with at least one young woman while he was on work release.

“I don’t know if any of his visitors were underage but I do know he was able to have visitors under the age of 21 and the information we’ve received from victims, including one who personally visited him, it was for improper sexual conduct,” said attorney Bradley Edwards during a press conference in New York on July 16.

Edwards insisted Epstein was a well behaved inmate because he wasn’t forced to change his ways. He wasn’t going to the foundation to work, he said.

“He was not conducting scientific research,” Edwards said. “He engaged in similar conduct (that was alleged by Palm Beach police in 2006 and recently by federal prosecutors in New York while he was quote, unquote, in jail.”

James Garner, the impromptu sheriff, has put outlaw, Bruce Dern, "behind bars," except there are literally no bars in the prison, doors and windows. His father, Walter Brennan, berates him for not walking out of the prison as there's nothing stopping him.

And these are people who supposedly have a career in administering justice helping out a known and convicted pedosadist.

So, how many ethical standards and moral values did these law enforcement officers have to ignore to take money from and help out their buddy the pedophile?

The epitome of the justice system being corrupted by capitalism.

does anyone believe that the guards did not receive money and sexual favors?

does anyone believe that whatever Epstein did on "work release" had any value to society?

goes anyone think that he will be treated any differently this time?

if someone's father lynches this guy I will not be among the mourners.
