national republican campaign committee called tonight

the caller asked to speak to my mom (he just said her first name). my mom passed away almost ten years ago.

i didn't know who was calling, so i asked.

he must've assumed i was the person he had asked for and told me where he was calling from.

my mother was never a republican. she couldn't stand republicans. she hated george bush as much as i did. anyway...

he asked if i thought donald trump was doing a good job of running the country.

i burst out laughing.

it was a gut reaction, the call had taken me by surprise, and i'm not giving my opinions out over the phone.

then, after a moment & in a deadly serious voice i added: "don't ever call here again."

the number was 202-381-9430. hopefully next time i'll be more prepared. hopefully there won't be a next time.

(doing a good job of running the country.

I'm sure the caller was startled by your laughter.

Well done!

To prevent them from calling actual Republican voters, then ultimately given them a piece of my mind about what a disgusting racist pig Donald Trump is.

My wife answered and was floored when they said who they were. She burst out laughing, told them we were lifelong Democrats, and asked where they got their call sheets from.

since they are calling dems they must be getting a lot of laughs over that question.

i wonder if they have to write down the response they get:

laughed; told never to call again
laughed; said they were lifelong dems

a wonderful job - of running the country into the gutter to please his good friend Vlad. tRump has never in his entire life done a good job of anything except screw things up. If these callers expect to be paid they will be treated like everyone he owes money to and left in the lurch. It is what Don the Con does.

This number was 202-381-9428.
I took my Mom's phone number when she passed away. She had been a lifelong Republican until the last 4 years or so. She couldn't agree with what the Republicans were doing with regard to the environment, global warming, healthcare, including birth control and abortion or most other issues and she especially hated Trump. She told me a few years ago she didn't think she was a Republican anymore. I told her the party left her a long time ago.

The caller asked for my deceased Dad who was a lifelong pro-union Democrat. He would have given him an earful after he kept him on the phone as long as possible!!

I wish I could have thought quicker and had a conversation with the guy. He asked if I thought Trump was doing as good a job as Obama. I told them they were deceased and hung up.
