Trump's base includes the people who are *still* upset the Confederacy lost the civil war

You could say to them if they are so unhappy with America they could leave... but nobody in their right mind would take them.

But yet, we suffer them.

came all the opportunists who were salivating at the prospect of free land, cheap and free labor and the chance to satisfy their lust for blood. Plenty of their spawn are still around. America has serious problems stemming from the genocidal nature of its conquest of these lands and the people who were already living here.

Maybe our past is coming back to haunt us in the form of deep-seated racism, bigotry, idolatry of guns, hyper-classism and brain-dead nationalism. Just look at all the MAGATS...surely a sign of a rotting corpse somewhere. That's where they collect - around a dead ideology that is really stinking up the place.

In Oct. of 2018 Trump went to Lebanon, OH and praised the great Gen. Bobby Lee.
That was not by accident because very close to Lebanon OH is the state h.q. for
the Klan and some of the worst of the worst of the neo nazi skin heads who assaulted
people and attacked people @ Charlottesville, VA were from that area. The man who
killed the woman with his car was from the Toledo area but did have connections to
S.W. OH.

Be white and like to do some outdoor stuff and drive a pick em up truck in Ohio and
you get to hear all kinds of garbage.

Is that they would be the first to claim to hold a patriotic perspective, yet they cling to banners of defeated ideologies .

Don't you get that the Swastika and the Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia are emblems of armies defeated by American patriots?

America fought a war against the Nazis and supposedly won.

Yet here they are marching to "take back America".

When did the Nazis have America?

" Michael Von Kotch, a Pennsylvania resident who called himself a Nazi, said the rally made him "proud to be white."

He said that he's long held white supremacist views and that Trump's election has "emboldened" him and the members of his own Nazi group. "

They were taught to be upset.

Big difference.

The actual people that lost the civil war were upset and since it was mostly soldiers that were injured or lost friends in the battle, they had a right to be upset, even if they were only pawns that were used by the powerful at that time.

But todays folks? Born 100+ years later? They were taught to be upset.
