for really in this country...the 1%ers, give or take a couple of percentage points.

And by the way, where is the so called vast economic boost that was promised by republican leaders when they pushed for the 2017 tax cut and jobs bill? And don't point to the current upbeat economic cycle as evidence...this cycle belongs to Obama and no one else.

The beginning of the end of the Obama cycle started as soon as rump took office...poor policies and legislation enacted since the rump admin./GOP legislation came into power has started the path towards the end of the current economic cycle ... slowly but surely.

Most notably, some economic powerhouses has declared increased odds for an economic downturn.

There are plenty of places which employ part time / seasonal workers around me that probably can't swing a 50% - 75% increase in wages over about 5 years.

Geographic wage disparities and different cost of living levels make the national minimum wage a very cumbersome tool. A better idea IMO is reworking the minimum wage to vary by county based on the local median income.

Then it doesn't deserve to be in business.

Heaven forbid they take a little extra profit.

I agree that the minimum wage has to go up, but a 'one size fits all' solution won't work. Different parts of the country have dramatically different costs of living. $15 in one area might be too much and cause businesses to fail, while in a big city it might not be enough to even afford the rent.

When do the Democrats get the balls to force themselves on the media like the GOP does?
