...our cartoonists all have have one style each, while the European ones have one style between them. You can easily tell a Wuerker from a Toles from a Rall. The European toonist is one small guy who hasn't seen the light of day for 200 years.

...and I don't see them as essentially the same. Also, the selection is influenced by how easy it is for me to find images and link to them. Overseas ones can be a little harder, at least enough that I'm not going to add to the time it takes to put these together.

The second one is the guy whose style is ubiquitous. Or maybe it's just one guy who works 27 hours a day. David Rowe, the Australian, is a splendid stylist, and I hope to see more of him.
