Republicans silent as Trump renews racist attack on congresswomen

Sniveling Cowards.....every fucking one of them

=========================

In the face of international condemnation – but very little comment from his own party – Donald Trump returned to the offensive against four Democratic congresswoman he targeted with racial invective on Sunday.

True to provocative form, the president accused the Democrats of “spewing” “racist hatred” – precisely the offence of which he has been widely accused.

In a tweet early on Monday, the president wrote: “When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said. So many people are angry at them [and] their horrible [and] disgusting actions!”

He added: “If Democrats want to unite around the foul language [and] racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular [and] unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the US.”

There can be no more discussion or debate about whether or not Trump is a racist. He is. There can be no more rhetorical juggling about not knowing what’s in his heart. We see what flows out of it.

White people and whiteness are the center of the Trump presidency. His primary concern is to defend, protect and promote it. All that threatens it must be attacked and assaulted. Trump is bringing the force of the American presidency to the rescue of white supremacy. And, self-identified Republicans absolutely love him for it.

We are watching a very dark chapter in this nation’s history unfold in real time. We are watching as a president returns naked racism to the White House. And we are watching as fellow citizens — possibly a third of them — reveal to us their open animus for us through their continued support of him.

Many a Nazi will explain how Slavs, like little man Putin and our naked first lady, Jewish folks, middle easterners and Koreans are Not white.

I'm not sure who exactly Trump is defending. Yes, the majority are whitish. But he's glad to embrace any self hating person of color who says nice things about him.

I think like everything the idiot Trump does, he's half ass about being a Nazi. He never pays any attention to the details and nuances. So, he understands that Nazis hate Jews but it's ok if the Jewish person is your son in law. Besides Kushner's got whitish skin.

And those very rich feudal rulers from the middle east are whitish. As is the North Korean feudal god.

So, I think we need to be specific that Trump is defending his own people, sort of, kind of, well, maybe not. Are they whitish?

never going to happen.

ETA: I'd love to see it, but it would be "not civil" and thus, I do not believe that it would ever in a million years happen.

If it does, I'll happily say I was wrong.

and basically say "both sides", it's gone to far for them. Republicans are seen by majority as the racist party, even by many of the Whites.

Republicans are speaking to their ever shrinking base.

The longer they remain silent, the more proof they AGREE and APPROVE of what Trump is saying and doing.

In Letters To The Editor, on their Facebook pages, on Social Media, etc.

I am working on another LTE right now that will be a blistering takedown of Republicans who defend Trump. Not naming names, but labeling them all RACISTS. Just as powerful.
