The stability of his polling shows too many Americans just don't care about the ongoing shit show that is this Presidency.
I understand a good part of that support is from the racist/evangelical loonies and deplorables that will stay with him because he is a inhuman monster.
But really, they shouldn't be more than 30%, so his 40% approval is troublesome to me. and a sad commentary on America.

It occurred when RepubliCONS, directed by their capitalist kings, started to seriously gerrymander, purge voters from rolls, disenfranchise minorities, encourage voter suppression and rig vote counts since 1988.

(32,767 posts)Democrats used to be so good at reaching out. What happened? We're not doing it any more, or we're not doing it enough to make a difference. If those non-voters can't see what's happening in this country, it's our fault. We're not telling them how important their vote is.
