Spending is not waste.

The right wing has thoroughly alienated people against government spending analogizing it to wasting money. Any spent money creates jobs and adds to the economy. Spending 3 trillion dollars a year to provide universal healthcare would lead the economy to real prosperity. Spending us good. Conserving money is bad. Only a very small segment of self interested people could argue for spending cuts. Besides energizing the economy into prosperity Universal Healthcare would show that human rights are really human rights.

as in my post supporting universal healthcare. There is no spending that is bad for a government. There are no similarities between micro and macro management. There are no similarities between a fixed income entity and one that can generate revenue based on needs.Cutting spending is the death of a government economy .

Does that include no-win wars, of the type we've been involved in for seventy years?

millions of USA citizens relief from suffering or longer lives. Our Democracy determines spending. Spending is good but I hope our Democracy will be awakened by all the suffering and deaths and choose to spend to the benefit of humanitarian rights.

but I guess that's my grandchildren's problem, as I will be gone before we ever get around to either paying off our debts or suffering the consequences of not doing so.
