Elizabeth Warren celebrating her wedding anniversary and a new dog called Bailey

elizabethwarren

Today is my anniversary with Bruce, and I’m thinking about one of the reasons I love him: Bruce always knows what my heart wants. After our dog Otis passed away, I feared we wouldn’t be able to get a dog again. A puppy just didn’t make sense. Then a little over a year ago, Bruce said, “We’re getting a dog.” I started to recite my list of “Reasons Why Not,” but Bruce just smiled. He told me: “The heart wants what the heart wants”—and he was right. Bailey makes my heart happy (and I get a photo of him from Bruce every day when I’m on the road). Happy anniversary, Bruce! I love you.

The way he feels about animals pretty much sums up his scorn for vast swaths of society. It's an ugly side of him that should have been exposed (instead of that stupid debate question "say something nice about each other, UGH).

That's a beautiful dog and they look like a really nice family.

This is not specifically about the dog part of that WaPo story, but Trump is ALWAYS quoting people referring to him as "sir." He really is the neediest person in the world.

I read about it on another post. Every story where someone says "sir" to him is totally made up. And he's not very creative. It's usually a "big guy" who is either crying or almost in tears.

The difference between the Warrens and the Trumps is like night and day. I'd love to see Bailey in the White House.
