when we protest, we always have a bunch of previously made up signs for those without.

No one was allowed to bring their own sign. All signs were made by the GOP. Completely orchestrated.

10. I went to 2 Bill Clinton Rallies. 1992 and 1996 and at both of them

the passed out signs that looked home made. The handed them out throughout the audience. One guy had made his own sign and brought it in, but it was so big it was blocking the view of some people. They politely asked him to lower his sign and use one they had printed up.

I use "attendee" rather than "delegate" because I suspect these people were paid to hold signs and cheer enthusiastically.

It was a Romney campaign stop somewhere, and they collected all the signs at the end. Anyone remember that? They said something like "We're with Mitt" or some such

They've been caught doing this in the past. Handing out "hand-made" signs before campaign events.

I believe it was here on DU that somebody posted a picture of several people busily making "home made" signs for distribution at a McCain / Palin event in 2008.

And you're right -- to the extent that the signs have correct spelling, you know that they weren't created by the Republican base.
