Here's something else...

Last edited Sat Jul 6, 2019, 07:23 AM - Edit history (1)

You know, when Obama was President every third day there'd be a story about how many assassination threats there were, how there were missives sent to the White House about how the girls were going to be kidnapped, that there were awful things that were being planned for this family, including but not limited to extreme violence. But they comported themselves with dignity, made public appearances, spoke behind normal lecterns,(on edit: About this I am mistaken...other presedints used plexiglass shields outside...they just weren't doused with precipitation so I hadn't realized. My error pointed out my Jberryhill)mixed with the public. Of course there was the usual extremely careful screening and logistics by the SS but you couldn't distinguish the public appearances from that of Bush, Jr, Clinton, Reagan, Bush Sr.

But interestingly, you do not hear of any threats to this moran or to his family...yes there is the occasional whack-job story, but these people are deemed "ineffectual" by the MSM and written off quickly. Meanwhile, he's standing behind a four-inch-plus thickness of bulletproof plexiglass or whatever material to give a speech in what is probably the safest metropolitan outdoor environment in the world. But not a word from the "liberal" press that not only is he obviously suffering from dementia in addition to his malignant narcissism and other extreme pathologies, too numerous to mention here, but he is a chickenshit, yellow (orange)-bellied frightened creep whose predatory actions upon helpless or near-helpless individuals is "legendary", hiding behind lawyers and flunkies and tinhorn-mobsters. He is one of the most inadequate people I've ever had the misfortune to have to be exposed to and in a career spanning forty thousand patients and probably another fifty thousand from my clinical teaching years, I cannot recall one single individual who was so disturbed ON SO MANY AXES OF PATHOLOGY. I've treated paranoid schizophrenics, rapists, murderers, real mobsters, financial thieves of the first order, mob enforcers, and yes, even a mob boss for a short time, and not one of these miscreants possessed the utter lack of human persona as does this horror-show of a human being; each had an aspect of humanity to which you could point: loyalty to family, understanding of hierarchy, respect and understanding, albeit creepy at times, for authority and the law, even if the major occupation was criminal.

This is unbearably pathological...this is why the thinking, non-deplorable portion of the Nation is so angry and frustrated.

3. What do you mean by "normal lecterns, mixed with the public"?

If you mean to suggest that previous presidents did not make public appearances behind bullet resistant shields, then you are simply mistaken.

Clinton used to have a habit of diving for the rope line, but in circumstances where the crowd is not carefully and closely screened, presidents have made appearances behind bullet proof barriers for as long as I can remember.

"But interestingly, you do not hear of any threats to this moran or to his family".WHY?

But he [Trump] is a chickenshit, yellow (orange)-bellied frightened creep whose predatory actions upon helpless or near-helpless individuals is "legendary".
.

True he's a chickenshit, an admitted germaphobe who's afraid of even the smallest of nature's creatures that can't be fended off by his army of lawyers, flunkies, and tinhorn-mobsters.

to have an experienced professional confirm my layperson’s sense that there is something very, very, very, very wrong with this man, quite apart from his greed, bigotry, incompetence, and ignorance.
We are in danger every minute he is in the White House.

or signed onto others' evaluations of this, whatever it is, thing in the White House saying exactly what you are saying, but as Americans usually do, we just go on as if everything will right itself eventually.

Unless it doesn't.

That frightens those of us who have the foresight to understand that one major event that threatens our country can destroy it with this unstable person in charge of things. No one is coming to save us from this place we're in. Not Congress, not the legal establishment, not our DOJ - no one. We are going to have to save ourselves.

People: Do your civic duty and get out and vote in vast numbers to remove not only him, but his enablers in Congress. Do whatever you can to get out the vote. I don't care which Democratic candidate wins, we just have to stand behind that person.

If you think it can't get any worse, then give him four more years and see how wrong you are. Four more years will only embolden him and the GOP to continue killing our country.

i've been trying to get #MultiplePathologies trending on twitter. i am not a mental health expert but in my opinion you don't have to be to recognize that this is a very sick man who is in decline.

thank you for the post.

given how despised he is. I guess it's a testament to how much we liberals deplore violence as a political solution.

i cant believe that he isnt getting threats. i might be kinda let down to find out there isnt.

but they might well be keeping it from him. if he is a brain dead as we think he is, that could be a hell of a wild card.

13. I agree that Chump goes out of his way appealing to some crazy people

... I mean the gun-nuts, survivalists, extreme racists and such. It surely seems there would be attempts on Chump or someone close to him, and yet we never hear anything about it.

My theory is that there are threats but the FBI and Secret Service are keeping it under wraps for some reason. They had a different attitude towards Obama and the Democratic administration, so those anti-Obama threats were leaked to the press. It's extremely odd that anti-Chump threats do not get leaked.

that remind me of Trump in some respects, but not the whole package. They often were loudmouthed losers in a bar, but every single one of them had some redeeming quality. I've yet to see one positive personality trait in Trump. Its pretty sad when you can say a real life mobster has more humanity than the president of the United States.

I really try to imagine what on earth do they see or hear when they look at this horrible man? And why would they think that would make a good president? I think most of them live in a reality TV world and have no idea what "reality" is anymore, but they seem to enjoy the conflict and hatred.

How many times I've questioned how a tyrant could take over an entire country and now we are seeing first hand the process. And yes, Trump would have no problem eliminating any critics, just like his buddy Putin.

It was mentioned in a post yesterday by DUer area51. It says in essence that Trump is decompensating rapidly and that it will be obvious to everyone over the next few months that he's no longer functional.
