(5,313 posts)...actually a little scary even.
KTLA 5 is reporting USGS 7.1 magnitude in the Ridgecrest area, again.

(15,682 posts)This one has me freaked out. I've been expecting this. I said as much on the fourth.

(15,682 posts)yesterday. This earthquake drought we've been in has lasted more that 2 decades. I'm afraid we might have a very scary ride ahead. I can't help feeling this way.

(15,682 posts)My two younger kids live in LA so I've called them and given them instructions for the next hour when the odds of another quake are highest.
My oldest is in Utah so I don't think she'll be needing, or wanting, my advice. Lol.

(25,586 posts)so when this started he walked in and asked me what the neighbors were doing that could rattle the place that much!
Easily the strongest quake of his young life.

(15,682 posts)My son and his father both slept through yesterday's quake.
I think if you felt yesterday's quake it makes this one scarier. Were you here in 92 when we had two in one morning? I was okay after the first one. The second one, though, which was only a few hours later, frightened me more than any quake ever had. I guess the big one is always in the back of my mind.

(15,682 posts)I hope that was mother nature's finale for a decade. But I've been expecting worse since long before yesterday's quake. I'm worried that tonight was just another foreshock to what is yet to come. I honestly expected tonight's shaking.
Stay safe.

(14,176 posts)(Since the quake at 8.20) have been no joke, too. I've felt three pretty big ones in DTLA

(15,682 posts)Tall buildings are not okay with me right now. Nothing over 1 story. I instructed my daughter to stay downstairs near the front door of her 2 story house.
I really hope this one is as big as we're going to get.
