The group has insisted the parade was launched as a serious endeavor aimed at correcting injustice. It has appointed far-right agitator Milo Yiannopoulos as the parades grand marshal. Yiannopoulos, a former Breitbart editor, was permanently banned from Twitter in 2016 for inciting waves of racist abuse campaigns against actress/comedian Leslie Jones. (1,773 posts)I identify as straight and female (I think that is how I say it said now) and I identify them as assholes.
In the sophisticated 70's when you had to have a dealer, it was said " always forward never straight". I still enjoy forward thinkers and doers more. No pride needed being straight, we have advantages.

(63,221 posts)I am embarrassed to be a Bostonian. Who gave them a permit for this? This is nothing other than a hate rally disguised as a "straight pride parade". It's bullshit. I hope to hell their is an opposition rally, because I will be there.

(16,113 posts)People required to sign off on this wanted to stick their neck out to give the organizers what they really wanted (which was the denial). The organizers dont want a parade, they wanted the Boston leaders to tell them they cant have one. They didnt get it (yet), but they still might.

(17,984 posts)Two dozen assholes walking deserted streets would be fine for an hour. Then regular activities resume. They just want to be provocational. Don't engage and they will learn their lesson. NOBODY IS INTERESTED!
