Angry Rex Tillerson says Kushner hijacked U. S. foreign policy.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/rex-tillerson-jared-kushner-hijacked-us-foreign-policy-angry-former-secretary-of-state-says?source=twitter&via=desktop

"Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson claims the State Department was kept in the dark about key U.S. foreign-policy decisions during his time in the Trump administration because the president’s son-in-law had effectively set up his own shadow operation.

Jared Kushner was privately working on strategic partnerships with foreign countries and meeting discreetly with world leaders outside the formal structures of the U.S. government, according to Tillerson, who told the House Foreign Affairs Committee behind closed doors last month that he was left “angry” by one situation in particular. Because Kushner at times went around Tillerson and his staff, the State Department was not able to efficiently manage U.S. diplomacy. "

Democrats because he's, well, Tillerson.

The fact remains, however, that he's an engineer who rose to run Exxon/Mobil. How he ran it may be argued, but he never went bankrupt, adequately dealt with crises, and fulfilled his duties as the boss.

Running one of the largest worldwide operations on the planet might be considered at one qualification for SoS. At least he can read a map, a balance sheet, and a prospectus, unlike his boss. He has also curried respect and favor with many world leaders.

Now we have Kushner, who inherited a business and married into another. The business was a bit tarnished by his father's time in jail, and later by his making his bones by overpaying for a building in the middle of a market downturn. A billion dollar timing mistake.

Kushner, working behind the back of the SoS?

Where is the bottom?
