What if the Pope placed certain countries, or regions, under

Interdict. What if they risked eternal torment unless they did away with corruption in their governments? What if they remained under Interdict until the Elites started to treat their fellow Catholics like brothers and sisters? Oh yes. There is a thing that the Pope could do that would totally shake up Mexico, Central, and South America. I would like to see it, personally. What do you think?

Ireland just voted to legalize abortion.

You want the Vatican to do something about that?

2. No. I want something done about things that Christians are actually told

to do: love their neighbors as they love themselves. Abortion is not mentioned in the New Testament. I know it is expecting a lot but Francis has appeared to be open to doing something for the poor and victimized. I just keep hoping.

3. I'd rather the Pope cleaned up the RCC's act, first.

Yeah...that'd be good. Maybe firing all of the priests who molest children and turning them over to the police would be a good start.

Let the church clean up its own act before attempting to clean up the acts of others.

And also ending the hateful prohibition of women from receiving Holy Orders, and removing the celibacy requirement. That would be a start.

Let's go back to the 16th Century instead of just to the mid 20th or the late 19th like Repubs are trying to do.

How about we stop letting churches of any size dictate legislation. You know, separation of church and state?

I know, this is wishful thinking on your part, but consider all the bad things that might go along with your "good" ideas.

We had a bunch to do with causing their problems. It's easy research.

Has that stopped or even slowed the right wing's obsession with tormenting everyone they can?
