I wondered how Meghan McCain keeps from getting fired from 'The View'. Now I know.

The Daily Mail rain a pretty scathing article on her reputation, behind the scenes. I don't follow their Twitter account but I do the Facebook one, and rarely is there anything stated that supports her. No doubt a number of people tune in to see what sort of wreck she will cause, on almost a daily basis. As for me, I hit the mute button, as soon as she start to screech.

So, here's the reason, despite her outrageous behavior, she's still on the show: 'Top ABC News executive James Goldston is Meghan's biggest fan. Despite what she's done to morale behind the scenes at the show and despite the viewer feedback on her being dreadful, he's enamored with her family legacy.

The article gives has the details behind her awful 'it's never my fault' behavior on Wednesday. One would think if she had any self-respect or self-awareness, she'd take a break or just leave on her own terms.

When her voice hits a certain decibel or she talks for more than 20 seconds, it is triggered. Hopefully it affects the muscles that control her jaws. Just clamps them shut so someone else can get a word in edgewise.

Actually haven't been watching for much more than 18 months, or so. This is the only panel I've seen and have nothing for comparison, from the past.

I enjoy Whoopi, Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin and can tolerate (for the most part) Abby Huntsman. But Meghan is just a disaster.

After my heart attack, I did a cardio rehab program that involved working out on machines for 45 minutes, three times a week.

Because I obviously had committed sins in this life or a previous one for which I had not yet atoned, my rehab sessions coincided with the View, and that is what they had on the TVs during my sessions.

Now, sure, I promptly started bringing my headset to listen to other things, but with The View on closed caption feet from my face, it was unavoidable.

I swear to God, if the North Vietnamese had done that to John McCain, he'd have never made it out alive.

I wonder if anyone ever considered hiring a voice coach, for her. Either than or make her wear a shock collar, and let Joy have the control device.

Start with boycotting the show sponsors, and let them know that you refuse to buy their products as long as Megan McCain is on the show. Boycotts helped get rid of offensive hosts on Faux News, and I'd bet it would work here too.

I don't watch The View, but I have no doubt that a lot of regular viewers would like to get rid of her.

I 'mute' her.

She has a BA in Art History. Just not sure how that qualifies her to present herself as some sort of expert on politics and world affairs.

She also comes on, every day, with a stack of blue note cards so she's got her talking points already prepared and studied. Still, when she screws up, like she did on Wednesday, it is still never her fault. Gee, that sounds familiar......

She did some sort of 'internship' on Fox News and Saturday Night Live, which hardly seems applicable to her degree. I think she's just what you said - tossing in the words 'opportunistic exploiter'.

The New York Times called the show the 'most important political TV show in America.'

They do get a whole lot of significant political guests, including most of the Democrats running for President. Julian Castro was featured, today.

I am confident that if anyone had the stomach to time her 'comments' on the show, she'd be dominating well over half of the air time.

Meghan needs counseling AND a voice coach.
