Re: latest rape allegation against Trump...

How is it that Joe Biden putting his hands on a woman's shoulders created more hand wringing and got more on-air discussion time than a credible accusation that the President RAPED someone?

Because he didn't tell the truth about it. While Trump tells lies every time he opens his lying mouth.

we've got a serial assaulter in the White House and not a peep. The rape story lasted about a day and a half. I don't get it. There is one standard for Democrats (sainthood) and no standards for Republicans. Trump can grift and rape and cheat and steal and it's just "Don being Don."

Way worse then Biden squeezing shoulders! Or, wait...Franken was pilloried by his own party. Trump's party doesn't care what he does as long as it keeps them in power. A perfect example of "us going high" when "they go low." I voted for and worked locally for Hillary, but that is NOT working out. Sadly, there are more "deplorables" than anticipated.

It's OK if you're a Republican. Been that way at least since Shrub was in office. They have different rules, I guess.

8. This NYT op ed by Charles Blow.

And yet, her account landed like one more body on the pile in a mass grave: reduced by the multitude of other accusations rather than amplified by them.

There was media coverage of Carroll’s accusation and social media discussion of it, but it never truly sufficiently sunk in and gathered the gravity it deserved.

Then Dean Baquet, executive editor of The Times, even said this newspaper “underplayed” the article it published on the accusation.

And Trump, in his swelling depravity, responded to the allegations by telling The Hill: “I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, O.K.?”

Well, sir, which type for you is rape-worthy?

it is complicit with the right, it isn't about money and ratings either, that's secondary.

13. Because republicans are masters of propaganda

Democrats stay quiet to allow things to fall where they may, and that is a mistake. If a Democrat had been accused of rape, even some Democrats (Gillibrand) would jump on it, but not republicans, they will fight for their peer tooth and nails even when they know they guy is a pervert, and a low-life.

I would like to know where Gillibrand is about the accusations to the buffoon, she was so adamant about Al Franken, what a good job she did for republicans.
