Rudy Giuliani has already started. He felt compelled to let everyone know that Mueller "could not make up his mind".
No doubt, they will do all within their power to destroy whatever credibility Robert Mueller has remaining.
Bill Barr will probably make another appearance to let everyone know that it was his call and he and Mr Rosenstein did not find enough evidence to charge Mr Trump with collusion or obstruction. Of course, if he had read the Report, he would have known that Mr Mueller was not looking for "collusion", but rather, conspiracy.
However, Mr Mueller's testimony could be very important as to whether or not Mr Trump is ever impeached? His responses about obstruction will be key to which direction Congress will go from here?
Everybody knows that Donald Trump is a corrupt and criminal president. The only question remaining is whether or not anyone is ready to hold him accountable?
Mr Guiliani has already begun the next phase of their obstruction.

(7,142 posts)because it means they are afraid of Mueller, afraid that God forbid, Trump may lose some of his base. Attacks on Mueller should only resonate with the hard core Trump base.
Listen to their lies and smile. I love the smell of Trump fear in the morning.

(111,098 posts)I'm sure there will be more. I would not be surprised if Trump attempts to use "executive privilege" to keep him silent.

(7,142 posts)it's not going to happen. Trump fears Putin more so than Bibi or MBS. I think that Putin has the dirt on Trump that would bring him down.
Mister Ed
(5,938 posts)Quite a tight spot Trump is in. He needs a war, and he needs it badly. But where to start one?

It worked on sabotaging John Kerry, so I wouldn't be surprised if they try it again. Especially from a full blown coward like the Donald.

(3,245 posts)to their deciding point,
I think a couple of things are totally relevant leading up to testimony,
One, let's see how the Administration and particularily AG Barr. The more he makes the claims that Mueller's testimony has to be limited or with held will lead many to come to the impeachment inquiry decision in order to learn facts,
Second, if Mueller is allowed to testify without conditions then the impeachment inquiry route may be superceded directly for the impeachment articles to be drafted.
Right now, ball's in the administrations court.
Forget all the BS coming from the talking heads. Let's see what Barr does.
