impeachment is done and gone.

Especially since the object of desire may be gone when a new Senate is amenable to conviction.

Impeachment opens more doors to investigation, will be more highly publicized, and will put the Republicans on notice that we are serious. I've been pushing for impeachment right from the beginning. I wrote to my Republican congresswoman asking her to change her stance.

I try to be consistent.

Must. Keep. Dry.

Passing bills knowing that they will never see the light of day keeps it dry.

Trying to rein in the toddler in the white house, apparently gets it wet in some way.

Why do anything if the Senate and McConnell won't approve of it?

And why they should vote for us in general.

It's really not that complicated. There's more to governing than considering/pursuing impeachment.

What I'm saying is our Leadership claims impeachment will get stopped at the Senate.
Well, legislation is getting stopped at the Senate also.
