For those keeping track at home, today, 21 June 2019, is exactly six months from the date Secretary of Defense James Mattis quit! In disgust.

For six months the orange fungus did not have a permanent Secretary of Defense. And we still don't today. Not even an "acting" Secretary. While a carrier group and an additional 1,000 troops are heading into the Persian Gulf.
