I also get trump is full of chit, a liar, traitor, racist, danger to our country and the world, worst Prez in history, should want to clear all this up, etc.

McDougall refused to testify to a grand jury and was tossed in jail by a judge. The Special Prosecutor - Ken Starr - had a lot more individual power than Robert Mueller did as Special Counsel.

Also, Congress doesn't have the same power as a federal judge.

Congress isn't a Grand Jury.

Trump is exposing the essential powerlessness of Congress to compel testimony. Congress is going to have to go to court to compel cooperation, and getting Hicks on the record as refusing is part of the case they're methodically building.

It should be ready just in time for his re-swearing in...
