Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the President’s decision to approve and then cancel a military strike on Iran:

“We are in an extremely dangerous and sensitive situation with Iran. We must calibrate a response that de-escalates and advances American interests, and we must be clear as to what those interests are."

Advancing American interests, and being clear about what those interests are? Why would anyone worry themselves about such minutiae when there are hostilities to be initiated, contracts to be let, and money to be made by arms merchants and the media? down a passenger plane, killing almost 300....and stole their nationalized oil...and let's not forget trump teaming up with an Iranian rev. Guard money launderer in Baku! I don't see that trump has a let to stand on.
