My #1 reason for voting in 2018

Was for Dems to take back Congress to put a check on Trump, to hold him accountable, to enforce the saying that no one is above the law.

Impeachment hearings are judicial hearings, they carry more clout with the courts.

Impeach Now. Who is with me?

People are quick to complain about how things are going, but they have to have a "reason" to do what forces things to be done the way they want them.

Spend some time learning about the candidates and issues then go to the polls. Democracy belongs to those who show up.

Vote every election without needing inspiration.
Yes, Hillary lost because of Russia, but more specifically she lost because millennials failed to vote for president. Trump won because turnout was low, in spite of people who vote every election.

What is the difference between Impeachment hearings, and ordinary committee hearings, as far as compelling appearance and testimony? Would Trump still be able to stonewall everyone called to testify? Is it that the enforcement of appearing and testifying is different to regular committee hearings? I'm confused; and I've heard or read nothing to explain how the procedures differ. They are both investigative.

It helps with executive privilege claims and grand jury rules.

If someone had told me last year we'd have no impeachment proceeding 90 days after Mueller finished, and Mueller would not yet be scheduled to testify, I would have thought they were crazy!

It sounds like it’s not going to happen unless she thinks the Senate will convict.
