Good news for some of you. I just notified one of our hosts I will no longer post.

I will continue to visit DU to stay up to date on current events. I wish everyone here the best and I hope we get through this nightmare called Trump without anyone getting hurt. Good luck to all of you.

Looking at his profile, he’s had 4 posts hidden recently, so he’s only 1 away from being banned. I’m guessing he’s doing this because he’d rather be able to read DU and just not post, than have one more post hidden, get flagged for review and never be able to post again.

When that happens, you can simply take the host's advice and post it in the correct forum. It has happened to me on several occasions. It's easy to mistakenly post in the wrong forum. Just shrug it off and repost it in the right place. No reason to feel hurt.

My advice is to contact the host and discuss it further.
