Trump Loses Interest In Venezuela

June 20, 2019 at 10:05 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

President Trump has lost interest in Venezuela after U.S. support for a coup failed to produce immediate results, the Washington Post reports.

Trump has lost “patience and interest” in the issue as attempts to remove President Maduro from power have stalled. Trump reportedly “chewed out the staff” in a meeting shortly after the failed takeover at the end of April, and hasn’t really mentioned it much since.

how odd to think a base in the Galapagos would be of use to someone wanting to stage military stunts in Venezuela. It has to be 1500-2000 miles away. Puerto Rico is a third of that distance. Of course, they have no infrastructure.

Reports are that Ecuador has granted permission to the US to use a landing strip for up to 3 days a month for drug reconnaissance flight refueling.

Who knew? Ummm EVERYBODY which is why other Presidents haven't tripped over their dick about it.

He truly is the "sitcom" president. If it isn't resolved in 30 minutes he gets bored and wants to change the channel.
