Ford was the incumbant President, so a Republican President did attend. n/t

His record of uncontrollable spending would screw up their whole meme that they are more fiscally responsible than President Obama.
How sad that they have a legacy of failure that they can't get around.

McCain, 2008's has been, will be there Wednesday for a speech as I understand it.
The party has moved on and none of them are even considered quite Conservative anymore.
