Did I hear someone on Morning Joe blame increase in robocalls on Trump's policies?

There was no follow up but other panelists nodded in agreement.

We've noticed the uptick in those calls but don't know why. I'm more than glad to blame Trump for them!

years, but now those calls have increased 10x and those who were filing suits seem to have disappeared. My guess is the current admin have put obstacles in their way.

The federal agencies are run by people who are averse to interfering with corporate profits. The irony is that it would actually benefit the Orange Overlord to pressure telecoms to deploy some effective countermeasures to mass spoofing and robocalling so that he could take credit for getting rid of a nuisance.

But all his tweeting and assholeish statements make everybody overlook what he has done to the environment in relaxing anti-pollution laws or wiping them out altogether. People would be livid if they knew. If I was a Democratic candidate not in the top tier, I would be pointing this shit out to people; that'd get ya noticed. Most are completely unaware of the environmental damage this band of greedy bastards has unleashed, and there's also the matter of all that land they misappropriated at Bears Ears, too. The damage will take generations to fix, if it can all be fixed at all.

It's a safe bet tRump's people at the FTC are not enforcing the Do Not Call registry, just based on the exponential increase in call we've had this year.

Fundamentally, for rePublicans it violates their policy canon to take enforcement against any business and that's been clearly demonstrated since this administration took office, particularly in the SEC. I shudder to think of what they're not enforcing at the EPA and FDA.

They believe in using laissez-faire rules for everything that applies to businesses and the wealthy, including this pResident's moral and ethical behavior.
