"When they came for me..."

In light of the announcement of a massive round up of undocumented folks (of which there are sure to be some documented and even US citizens snared) we need to take to the streets in massive protest.

Last summer "they" came for me...the status of my naturalization was questioned. Had it not been for my white male priveledge, command of the English language, economic status and community connections (ie willing pro bono attorney friends) I could have very well been deported back to Germany.

Let us never have to say: "When they came for me, there was no one left to speak"

It means being pro active and taking to the strrets and confronting the immorality of our government. Hong Kong just did it, we can too!
